Fun Family Event: Reading A Family Affair

The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia invites you to the 7th Annual Reading: A Family Affair (RAFA), an event that brings books to life through performance art! RAFA will spotlight storytellers, musicians, dancers, puppeteers, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. There will be activities, giveaways, and hands-on fun for families.
Performers include: Zurii Conroy; Lulu Delacre; Jane Dorfman; Goodlife Theater; Groovy Nate; Kalavaridhi Dance School; Kaydee Puppets; Tom Lilly: The One Step MagiCompany; Oh Susannah!; Rainbow Entertainment; and Sing Books with Emily.
Also, each child that attends gets a free book to take home and has the opportunity to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog from WETA Kids.

When: Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: James Lee Community Center, 2855 Annandale Road, Falls Church, VA 22042
Cost: Suggested donation of $5 per family to benefit the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia’s Student Scholarship Fund.
