Working out can have phenomenal benefits, both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, with the average adult’s schedule becoming more and more hectic, it is difficult to find time to exercise. For those with children, finding time to get to the gym can seem next to impossible. However, it is a common misconception that the only type of exercise that makes a difference is the type that involves sweating over a workout machine for hours. There are a ton of different ways for mother’s to stay fit.

While older workout videos weren’t all that impressive, they have come a long way and can actually provide phenomenal results. P90x and Insanity are both workouts that use interval training to provide maximum results in a short amount of time. This exercise is a lot better than considering a breast lift because it transforms the entire body and can greatly improve the look of the upper body and chest. Working out at home allows mothers to workout without having to find a babysitter and because the workouts only take 30 to 45 minutes to complete, they can be easily worked into any type of schedule.

For women with young children, taking them for a walk in the stroller is the perfect way to get a workout in while getting them outdoors. In most neighborhoods, there are organized groups where mothers get together with their small children and workout. Not only do they walk together with their strollers but they also perform other exercises that target different areas of the body. Just because a woman has a small child doesn’t mean she can’t get a great workout in.

Putting a treadmill in the home is another way to ensure women get a workout in during their busy days. A simple 20 minute run is all a woman needs to get in shape, especially if she incorporates high intensity interval training (HIIT) in her running routine. This means that she walks for a minute, jogs for two minutes, and then sprints for a minute. This interval is repeated five or six times. HIIT can completely transform the body and melt fat away quicker than any other type of training. Not only does it increase the amount of calories burned during the workout, but also significantly increases the metabolism for the rest of the day. HIIT is also a great way to improve both a person’s endurance and stamina.
